(which were correct....the prosecution was legally off base here). Given the law that the judge has correctly recognized and stated in this decision, Ryan's affidavits are enough for a new trial. Out of fairness, he is giving the prosecution a chance to submit contrary affidavits, because they asked for that chance previously. But Ryan's affidavits are already enough in my opinion. It is my opinion that this is a big step forward for Ryan eventually getting a new trial.
