Sleepy Jurors? 6 Months, 1 Week ago
I've been following the Anthony Kirkland trial in Hamilton Co. this week and the judge has decided that the trial will only run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. because jurors tend to get sleepy after lunch.

During Ryan's trial last year, I noticed some of the news station camera shots showing Judge Bronson sitting with his eyes closed and Travis Gettys commented a couple times during the afternoon period that some of the jurors looked sleepy or
bored. Maybe a shorter day is a good idea for Ryan's trial if the judge will allow it. ??

That's a good thought Marbelt. I read that and thought the same thing. Maybe even if the judge doesn't allow a shorter day, there could be a "spotter" on the defense team to keep watch on the jury for sleepiness? If that occurs, then the defense team should be alerted and maybe a reccess called or end testimony for the day? Just a thought... I want Ryan to have all advantages, and not have anything missed because the jury hits their "carb coma" after lunch!
